It’s finally, finally that time of year. I, like many, love fall. Honestly, it feels a bit trendy to love fall, but I’ve been loving fall my whole life…and I’m not going to stop now. For the record, I’m not a Pumpkin Spice Latte fan, because, *gasp*, I don’t enjoy pumpkin flavored treats, which goes against the rules of all fall lovers, but I can still be in club, right? Also, while I am admitting breaking of the rules, I don’t wear leggings 24/7 in the fall. In fact, I rarely wear leggings because I feel like I am in a bad dream where I forgot to wear pants. They are too thin, and skin light, and nope.
So here I am in Northern California, where it can still reach 100 degrees in the blessed month of September. I find it hard to bust out the orange leaves and the pumpkin scented candles while my AC is pumping on it’s last leg. But… just when I had lost all hope, I woke up this morning to a 65 degree overcast day! After I changed the diapers, and handed out sippy cups, I skipped into the garage to pull out my “fall” box. I honestly could not have been any happier to have a cup of coffee in my favorite mug, pull on a sweatshirt, and let the kids run around in the yard. The only thing sweeter: football is on tonight. So hello fall, I have missed you so much, even if it’s only for 1 day. What feels like fall for you? Who else is a rebel like me in the “I Love Fall” club?
